ABSTRACT In one aspect, this invention relates to a polyurethane foam which is the reaction product of a reaction mixture comprising a poly(alkylene carbonate) polyol, a silicone surfactant, a blowing agent, and a polyisocyanate. This foam exhibits improved solvent resistance as compared to a similar foam prepared from a polyether polyol or a polyester polyol. In addition, this foam has been found to exhibit better flame resistance than similar foams prepared from polyether polyols, and also exhibits inherent antistatic properties.
