A B S T R A C T Flexible polyvinyl chloride being useful because of its flame retardancy and reduced smoke generating properties is disclosed. The plastics are characterized in that they contain about from 0.1 to 1 part , by wt., of a high molecular weight ferrocene derivative and about 5 to 30 parts, by wt., of chlorinated paraffin per 100 parts of polyvinyl chloride resin.
