A tank level monitoring system is provided. The system comprises a monitor and a data center. The monitor is operatively connected to the tank to periodically monitor a level of product stored in the tank. The monitor includes a user-defined reporting schedule programmed therein. The data center is in communication with the monitor via a data channel. The monitor transmits level measurement information to the data center over the communication channel based on the user-defined reporting schedule.
La présente invention a trait à un système de suivi de niveau de réservoir. Le système comporte un moniteur et un centre de données. Le moniteur est relié en fonctionnement au réservoir pour le contrôle périodique du niveau de produit stocké dans le réservoir. Le moniteur renferme un schéma d'information programmé défini par l'utilisateur. Le centre de données est en communication avec le moniteur via un canal de données. Le moniteur transmet l'information de mesure de niveau au centre de données via le canal de communication en fonction du schéma de compte-rendu défini par l'utilisateur.
