A flexible container for fluid administration is provided having a body defining a cavity, a base, and at least one port comprising a flange in contact with a flange of a terminal port having a punctureable membrane layer. The body has a cross-sectional configuration including a lower body section of a first dimension, a middle body section of a second dimension, and an upper body section of a third dimension, wherein the second dimension is smaller than the first dimension and the third dimension. The flexible container may also include a base having a plurality of creases that are foldable to form two folded ends each including an extension having a base of a first dimension and a tip of a second dimension.
L'invention concerne un contenant flexible pour administration de fluide. Le contenant comporte un corps définissant une cavité ; une base et au moins un orifice muni d'une bride qui est en contact avec la bride d'un orifice terminal munie une couche de membrane perforable. La configuration du corps en coupe comporte une section de corps inférieure d'une première dimension, une section de corps médiane d'une deuxième dimension et une section de corps supérieure d'une troisième dimension, la deuxième dimension étant inférieure à la première et à la troisième dimension. Le contenant flexible peut également comporter une base munie d'une pluralité de plis pliables pour former deux extrémités pliées chacune munie d'une extension dont la base possède une première dimension et l'embout une deuxième dimension.
