Flexoar is used for the propulsion of small boats, usually a row-boat. Flexoar is a set of two oars, an oar is installed on right side and the second on the left side of the boat. The rower (oarsman or oarswomen) will row using Flexoar sitting and facing the front of the boat, directing the boat frontward. With the action of the rower pulling handles towards his body (regular rowing procedure), gear boxes on each oar which are located between the handle and the wooden or aluminium paddles, will propel the boat in the direction of the front of the boat. The connecting gear box has the reversing effect when handles are pulled to let paddles in the water to move backward and push the boat forward. The gear box connects the handle and the oar by two nylon GF gears (gears may also be in metal or aluminium), and attached to the box by two pins and a handle for removing and carrying oars. Each gear box comprises a push and pull shaft to allow for the movement, up and down of oars, Gear boxes are attached to the push and pull handle bolt and lock bolt mechanism, the later is mounted onto supports and one lock bolt, supports are attached to the boat with four bolts or riveted. Each Lock bolt mechanism is used here to prevent oars to fall and dipping into the water or other incident.
