A flight stabilizer for minimizing the effect of side winds on the trajectory of an arrow in flight. The flight stabilizer is installed on the tip of an arrow, by inserting the tip into a hole in the flight stabilizer. The flight stabilizer is formed of a material, such as plastic, that is easily shattered on impact with a target. The front half of the flight stabilizer, as viewed in the direction of flight, has a hemispherical shape, which generates an even air flow along the arrow tip, such that the arrow is not deflected by side winds. The back half of the flight stabilizer is preferably hemispherical in shape, but may be tapered toward the back. Preferably, the surface of the flight stabilizer has evenly spaced depressions to add further stability.
