A range finder for a cap for determining the distance to a golf flag (f). The range finder has a cap coupling portion (60) having a thin shell portion (62) adapted to conform with the cap (b) and a pair of "u" shaped portions (64) hooking around the edge of the cap. A base (12) is carried by the cap coupling portion. A first support (20) is pivotally mounted to the base at a second pivot point (28). An index (16) for viewing through the lens is pivotally carried by the second support. The range finder has a linkage bar (36) to the first support and pivotally mounted at a fourth pivot point (40) to the second support. Moving the lens from a retracted position to a flipped-down, in-use position moves the index in unison.
Un télémètre relevable pour déterminer la distance d'un fanion de golf (f). Le télémètre comporte un élément de fixation (60) à une casquette, lequel élément comporte une partie (62) à épaisseur réduite conçue pour épouser la forme de la casquette (b) et une paire de parties en U (64) s'accrochant autour du bord de la casquette. Une base (12) est supportée par l'élément de fixation à la casquette. Un premier support (20) est monté pivotant sur la base en un deuxième point de pivotement (28). Un index (16) destiné à l'observation au travers de la lentille est supporté pivotant par le deuxième support. Le télémètre comporte une barre de liaison (36) qui aboutit au premier support et qui est montée pivotant en un quatrième point de pivotement (40) sur le deuxième support. Le déplacement de la lentille de position repliée en position rabattue pour l'utilisation déplace l'index à l'unisson.
