Subject of invention is a new flipper-like swimming device that is to be worn onthe feet and resembles a traditional flipper but aids swimming in a totally different way. It can be used separately or with an additional hand-held device that resembles a ski pole with attached small parachute-like structure to its distal end. The hand held device can be also used separately to function as an oar propelling various floating devices such as kayaks, surfboards, etc. Both devices can be used by all age groups, both recreationally as well as in competitively. The inventor of this device foresees the possibility of the creation of totally new water sports brought about by the use of the devices. Applications of the inventions can be numerous. These include: therapeutic water aerobics, recreational and competitive swimming, rescue aid in conjunction with other floating devices, e.g. surfboard. I can also be used in military during traversing water barriers by soldiers in full gear.
La présente invention a trait à un dispositif pour la natation ayant la forme d'une palme qu'un nageur porte sur son pied et qui ressemble aux palmes existantes, mais qui facilite la natation d'une façon tout à fait différente. Le dispositif peut être utilisé seul ou en combinaison avec un autre dispositif à main semblable à un bâton de ski, qui est doté, à son extrémité distale, d'une structure semblable à un parachute. Le dispositif à main peut également être utilisé seul comme rame pour propulser divers dispositifs flottants, par exemple un kayak ou une planche de surf. Les deux dispositifs peuvent être utilisés par des personnes de tous les groupes d'âge, tant pour les loisirs que pour la compétition. L'inventeur prévoit que ces dispositifs susciteront la création de sports aquatiques entièrement nouveaux. Les inventions peuvent avoir de nombreuses applications, dont les suivantes : exercice thérapeutique en piscine, nage récréative et de compétition, dispositifs de sauvetage utilisés en combinaison avec d'autres dispositifs flottants, par exemple une planche de surf. Elles peuvent également être utilisées par des soldats devant porter leur équipement et traverser des cours d'eau dans lesquels se trouvent des obstacles.
