A float system for all wheel drive ATV in which two lateral floats are detachably secured along the sides of the ATV. The floats are so dimensioned and positioned as to permit unassisted entry into the water and beaching without changing the height of the floats relative to the chassis of the ATV. Paddle wheels on the rear axle provide propulsion while a rudder assembly in close proximity behind the paddle wheels allow steering of the ATV when waterborne.
