An airbag safety floatation system for vehicles in danger of sinking. The device is installed on a snowmobile on the handlebar and steering section thereof. The system comprises a C02 cartridge with a supply line to fill an airbag, to allow the machine on which it is installed to float for a sufficient period of time to allow the user to escape to safety. The system of the present invention may be armed or disarmed by the user, and may be deployed either manually of automatically.
