Abstract The present invention relates to a floating battery rack comprising vertical side parts (1) and supporting cross arms (5) or beams (6) inserted thereinto and connecting the side parts to take up the floating batteries. The ends of each side part are provided with rectangular tubes (1.2) into which connecting tubes (8) extending over the entire height of the rack can be inserted. Between side parts located one above the other, separators (9) and further side parts (1) are stuck onto these connecting tubes, making it possible to build up as many tiers as desired .
