The present invention is related to a floating punch-holder comprising holding means adaptable to be attached to a punching apparatus, shank means having upper portion and lower portion, the upper portion of the shank being held by the holding means, punch means being connected to the lower portion of the shank means, die means adapted to cooperate with the punch means, wherein the holding means comprises a cavity adapted to accommodate and immobily lock the upper portion of the shank means, and wherein the upper portion having a configuration adapted to easily and accurately adjust the punch means in any position desired for alignment and centring with the die means while remaining in line as one or other adjustment is made. The holding means is incorporated within the punching apparatus, comprising a chuck means adaptable to be attached to the punching apparatus. The chuck means comprises an upper portion and lower portion, the upper portion is adapted to be securely attached to the apparatus and the lower portion accommodates the cavity and the chuck means has unitary configuration.
La présente invention vise un porte-poinçon flottant comprenant un dispositif de retenue conçu pour être fixé sur un poinçon, un bras constitué d'une portion supérieure et d'une portion inférieure, la portion supérieure étant insérée dans le dispositif de retenue, la portion inférieure étant reliée au poinçon, et une matrice conçue pour fonctionner de pair avec le poinçon. Le dispositif de retenue comporte un creux dans lequel est immobilisée la portion supérieure du bras, cette dernière ayant une configuration permettant de régler facilement et précisément le poinçon dans n'importe quelle position désirée par rapport à la matrice tout en demeurant en ligne lorsque sont effectués ces réglages. Le dispositif de retenue est incorporé au poinçon et comporte un mandrin pouvant être fixé à ce dernier. Le mandrin, de configuration monolithique, comporte une portion supérieure et une portion inférieure, la première étant conçue pour être fixée solidement au poinçon, et la seconde comportant un creux.
