ABSTRACT In sportswear for use in a variety of sports games or competition such as skiing, riding, motorbiking and the like, this invention relates to a protector for sportswear which has the function of protecting a wearer's body as a result of being attached to a location which tends to collide with the obstacle. The protection system generally comprises shock-absorbing pads secured to the surface of the sportswear and hard cover plates disposed externally of, and spatially separated from, the shock-absorbing pads to define a floating shock-absorbing system therebetween.
