An apparatus for producing electricity by utilizing water, either moving or inert. It has three cylinders arranged parallel to each other, one-of which is open-ended and contains an auger, which is powered by water and is connected to various gears arranged to power a generator for producing electricity. The two outer cylinders house the electric generator and a piston in each outer cylinder which can regulate the buoyancy of the apparatus. The pistons are moved by threaded rods or telescoping hydraulic cylinders which are powered by small motors controlled from a control panel using technology already available, such as radar, sonar, and water speed and pressure.
