FLOOR AND/OR WALL COVERING Abstract of the Disclosure A floor or wall covering having the characteristic of a textile but with substantial resistance to wear and fraying, and yet which can be made using fancy threads has at least one layer of parallel juxtaposed textile threads together with a supporting layer to which are individually fixed the textile threads. The latter are formed from a plurality of twisted fibres with a small portion of these fibres being fixed to the supporting layer by needling, the density thereof being insufficient to destroy the continuity and initial appearance of each textile thread.
