The invention relates to a floor or wall covering from ceramics, wood, plastic, natural or artificial stone, with inlays illuminated by means of optical waveguides, and to tiles and panels used for the same. The aim of the invention is to provide an optical waveguide illuminated floor or wall covering, as well as tiles and panels used for the same, that can be produced and installed at low costs despite a large number of inlays. To this end, at least one recess (12) is provided in which an inlay is inserted that can be illuminated and that consists of a transparent material or of a diffuse reflecting fiber optic element. Said inlay (14) is linked with a light source (60) disposed at a distance via an optical waveguide (30), said optical waveguide (30) being mounted on the exterior of the inlay (14).
L'invention concerne un revêtement en céramique, bois, matière plastique, pierre naturelle ou artificielle pour plancher ou paroi, avec marquetages éclairés au moyen de guides d'ondes optiques, ainsi que des carreaux ou des panneaux utilisés à cet effet. L'invention a pour but de fournir un revêtement pour plancher ou paroi éclairé par guides d'ondes, ainsi que des carreaux ou des panneaux utilisés pour ce revêtement, pouvant être produit et installé économiquement, en dépit d'une pluralité de marquetages. En conséquence, l'invention est caractérisée en ce qu'il est prévu au moins un évidement (12) dans lequel est insérable un marquetage (14) réalisé en un matériau transparent ou en un corps guide de lumière à rayonnement diffus, en ce que le marquetage (14) peut être connecté avec une source lumineuse (60) prévue à distance, via un guide d'ondes optiques (30), et en ce que le guide d'ondes optiques (30) est en prise à l'extérieur du marquetage (14).
