?1,394-504 FLOOR PANEL ASSEMBLY ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A floor panel used in raised flooring systems is constructed to support an impinging load. The panel is supported at its corners and has a substantially flat upper surface and a lower surface comprised of hemispherical domes. The poles of the domes directly contact and support the upper panel. The domes are preferably flattened in the general vicinity of the poles to provide superior support to the upper panel. An arcuate trim member surrounds the panel and facilitates the assembly of the panel. The trim member creates a separating gap between panels, thereby facilitating their removal and replacement and creates a seal to prevent debris from entering between adjacent panels. -17-
