-9- "FLORAL SPIKE" ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A flower holder consists of a flat disk with a cen- trally located spike or prong extending upwardly therefrom. Leaves, ribbon or other decorative material may be engaged upon the spike and a single flower such as a rose, carnation or other flower may then be engaged upon the spike which can be set in a bowl of water or the like. The flower will be held erect without tipping and an aperture or apertures may be formed through the disk to facilitate setting the disk in the water in the container inasmuch as the water will flow through the apertures as the disk is lowered to the base of the con- tainer. The aperture also may be used to store the device upon a projecting member such as a rod, when not in use.
