13 Abstract of the Disclosure An apparatus for simultaneous froth flotation and grinding of crude materials in continuous or batch mode comprises a vessel for containing grinding media crude feed material to be ground and a flotation gas, an agitation unit rotatably mounted in the vessel, drive means connected to the agitation unit for rotating the unit to agitate the grinding media and the feed material to pulverize the feed material into fine particles, and a discharge launder for collecting a froth at the top of the vessel to recover the fine particles with the froth.
