ABSTRACT The invention relates to a flotation machine designed for the flotation of minerals from sludges containing coarse particles. The flotation machine comprises a flotation cell having disposed therein a mixer arrangement comprising a rotor and a stator, provided with actuator machinery and auxiliary equipment. The bottom of the stator is solid and the stator-rotor mechanism is located within the cell spaced from the cell bottom. A feed inlet pipe is connected to the cell so that the feed is directed towards the mixing zone of the rotor flow.
