An optical system including a unique mirror arrangement surrounding a tube (101) containing a flowing fluid with suspended biological material can be configured as flow cytometer or as an ultraviolet light disinfecting system. The optical system includes a plurality of off-axis ellipsoidal mirrors (102) defining first and second focal points; the first focal point is coincident with a flow tube extending through the optical system. Multifunction optical units (103) are located at the second focal points of the ellipsoidal mirrors. High intensity excitation light impinges on the material flowing through the flow tube (101).
Il s'agit d'un système optique qui comprend un montage de miroirs unique qui entoure un tube (10) contenant un fluide en écoulement avec une matière biologique en suspension. Ce système peut être configuré en cytomètre en flux ou en système désinfectant à rayonnement ultraviolet. Ledit système optique comprend de multiples miroirs elliptiques excentrés (102) définissant un premier et un second points focaux. Le premier point focal coïncide avec un tube de circulation traversant le système optique. Des unités optiques multifonctions (103) se trouvent aux seconds points focaux des miroirs elliptiques. Une lumière d'excitation très intense influe sur la matière qui s'écoule à travers le tube de circulation (101).
