ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention relates to a flow rate con- trol system in an apparatus for supplying and draining fluid such as air and water, etc. and particularly in the fluid supply and drain apparatus comprising a motor as the means for driving fluid flowing means such as a fan and flow rate control means such as a damper which is capable of shielding the flowing path, which controls step by step a number of rotations of motor in accordance with the flow rate of fluid flowing through the flowing path on the occasion of operating the motor with the variable frequency power supply of which output frequency changes depending on the command request of said fluid flowing means as a load, also controls the flow rate control means such as a damper in addordance with devia- tion between the command request from the load and the staircase control input to the variable frequecny power supply even when the flow rate changes minutely at each step, and has realized fine control of desired flow rate by adjusting a number of rotations of motor and necessary control amount of opening angle of the flow rate control means such as damper.
