ABSTRACT There is provided a new and useful fluid flow restrictor adapted for insertion in a fluid flow apparatus including at least a supply line and/or valve; the restrictor comprising a solid body having at least one passage each communicating between an inlet and outlet and through which fluid flows, characterised in that the passage is configured such that the length of the passage or passages is/are less than or equal to ten times the width or diameter of the passage or passages taken at any point along the passage.
