Flowable granular carpet cleaning compositions which do not contain borax or boric acid salts and which are readily shaken or strewn onto a carpet needing cleaning is disclosed. The compositions comprise as essential constituents: comminuted cellulose, zeolite, an inorganic salt system comprising of (a) an alkali metal carbonate, (b) an alkali metal bicarbonate, and (c) an alkali metal sesquicarbonate wherein the ratios of (a):(b):(c) is 1:0.5-2.5:0.5-2.5, one or more organic solvents, an organic or inorganic acid, anionic surfactant, and water.
L'invention porte sur des compositions granulaires fluides pour le nettoyage de tapis sans borax ni sels d'acide borique faciles à saupoudrer et à répandre sur les tapis à nettoyer. Leurs principaux constituants sont: de la cellulose finement broyée, de la zéolite, un système de sels minéraux comprenant (a) un carbonate de métal alcalin, (b) un bicarbonate de métal alcalin et (c) un sesquicarbonate de métal alcalin, (a), (b) et (c) se présentant dans le rapport 1/0,5-2,5/0,5-2,5 ainsi qu'un ou plusieurs solvants organiques, un acide organique ou minéral, un tensio-actif anionique et de l'eau.
