K 9451 A B S T R A C T FLOWLINE CONNECTOR A snap type flowline connector comprises a pin member and box member. The pin member is provided with a split locking ring which is sized to fit in its normally assumed expanded position in a locking ring receptor groove in the box member. If disconnection of the connector members is required a compression sleeve is moved in axial direction over the split locking ring thereby forcing said ring to its contracted, unlocked, position and releasing it.
