A flow meter calibration system (100) uses a plurality of Coriolis effect mass flow meters (216, 218, 220, 222, 324, 326, 328, and 330) formed in two arrays (112, 116) to calibrate a meter under test (114). The method of system operation (P500) adjusts flow rates to optimum levels for certainty of measurement and performs a statistical analysis permitting the system to be used even in the calibration of other Coriolis flowmeters.

L'invention concerne un système d'étalonnage (100) de débitmètre utilisant plusieurs débitmètres massiques à effet de Coriolis (216, 218, 220, 222, 324, 326, 328 et 330) formant deux réseaux (112, 116) pour étalonner un débitmètre (114) à l'essai. Le procédé d'exploitation du système (p500) règle les débits à des niveaux optimaux pour la certitude de mesure et procède à une analyse statistique permettant d'utiliser le système également pour étalonner d'autres débitmètres à effet de Coriolis.
