Fluid bed granulation process comprising the steps of: - forming a fluid bed of seeds (Sl) of a chosen substance, - feeding said fluid bed with a continuous fluid flow (L) comprising a growth liquid, - inducing and maintaining a continuous vortex (V) in said fluid bed, the vortex (V) having a substantially horizontal axis, characterized in that said fluid flow (L) is fed into predetermined first zones (Zl) of said fluid bed, said first zones (Zl) being alternated to second zones (Z2) of said fluid bed in which said fluid flow (L) is not fed.

Procédé de granulation en lit fluidisé consistant à former un lit fluidisé de germes (SI) d'une substance choisie, alimenter ledit lit avec un flux liquide continu (L) contenant un liquide de croissance, induire et maintenir un vortex continu (V) dans le lit fluidisé, le vortex (V) ayant un axe sensiblement horizontal. Ce procédé est caractérisé en ce que le flux liquide (L) est acheminé dans des premières zones prédéterminées (ZI) dudit lit, ces premières zones (ZI) alternant avec de secondes zones (Z2) du lit fluidisé dans lequel le flux liquide (L) n'est pas acheminé.
