2044258 9105831 PCTABS00005 Refrigeration fluid compositions for compression refrigeration which have an upper solution critical temperature equal to or greater than about 35 ·C are composed of selected hydrochlorofluorocarbons and hydrofluorocarbons with esterified polyether polyols in which at least 30 percent of the hydroxyls are esterified. The esterified polyether polyols have a viscosity of between 6 and 150 centistokes (6 x 10-6 and 15 x 10-5 m2/s) at 38 ·C. These esterified polyether polyols are more soluble in refrigerant R134a than their polyglycol precursors.
