A tethered interconnection assembly (50) supplies an antimicrobial fluid to interior passages of an endoscope during a microbial decontamination cycle. The tethered connection assembly includes tube assemblies (56) with fittings (60, 62, 64) which are uniquely configured for interconnection with an appropriate one of a high pressure port (28), a low pressure port (28), and optionally a leak detector port (36). Fittings (74) at the other end of the tube assemblies are configured for interconnection with appropriate corresponding ports of the endoscope. The tube assemblies (56) are interconnected by a tether (52) to which plurality of plugs (58) for plugging appropriate ports of the endoscope are also connected. A tag (54) identifies the model(s) of endoscope that the tethered connection assembly is to be used with and provides a diagram showing the proper interconnection pattern.
L'invention concerne un dispositif de raccordement (50) assemblé fournissant un fluide antimicrobien à l'intérieur des passages d'un endoscope lors d'un cycle de décontamination microbienne. Ce dispositif comprend des tubes (56) possédant des raccords (60, 62, 64) configurés de manière unique pour servir de raccord avec un autre élément d'un orifice (28) à haute pression, d'un orifice (28) à faible pression, et éventuellement d'un orifice de détection (36) de fuites. Les raccords (74) situés à l'autre extrémité des tubes sont conçus de manière à pouvoir être connectés à des orifices correspondants appropriés de l'endoscope. Ces tubes (56) sont reliés par un élément d'assemblage (52) auquel sont connectées une pluralité de fiches (58) destinées au raccordement des orifices appropriés de l'endoscope. Une étiquette (54) permet d'identifier le modèle de l'endoscope avec lequel le dispositif de raccordement assemblé doit être utilisé et fournit un diagramme présentant le schéma d'interconnexion adéquat.
