According to the invention, in an electric current lead divided into at least two sections (4, 27) said sections (4, 27) are joined to an electric connection. To ensure the desired cooling in the different operating states, the one section (4) and/or the one connecting element (10) are air-cooled and the other section (27) and/or the other connecting element (22) are water- cooled.
