A medical pump includes a chassis (122) having a fixed seat (162), and a main carriage (78) having a carriage footing (92) for receiving a fluid delivery device and restricting its movement. An actuator (198) automatically moves the main carriage between open and closed positions to engage the fluid delivery device to the seat. The seat establishes the position of both the main carriage and fluid delivery device in the closed position. The actuator is connected to the main carriage by a rear carriage assembly having a manual release element for disengaging the actuator from rear carriage assembly and thereby from the main carriage. A processing unit detects jam conditions by processing carriage position data and electrical load data from the actuator.

L'invention porte sur une pompe médicale comprenant un châssis (122) pourvu d'un siège fixe (162), et un chariot principal (78) équipé d'un socle de chariot (92) afin de recevoir un dispositif de distribution de fluides et de restreindre son mouvement. Un actionneur (198) fait automatiquement bouger la chariot principal entre une position ouverte et fermée afin que le dispositif de distribution de fluides vienne en prise avec le siège. Ce siège permet de fixer la position du chariot principal et du dispositif de distribution de fluides en position fermée. L'actionneur est relié au chariot principal au moyen d'un ensemble de chariot arrière pourvu d'un élément de dégagement manuel servant à libérer l'actionneur de l'ensemble de chariot arrière et, ainsi, du chariot principal. Une unité de traitement détecte les conditions de blocage grâce au traitement des données de position du chariot et des données de charge électrique de l'actionneur.
