A fluid ejection assembly includes a first layer (50/150/250), and a second layer (30/40) positioned on a side of the first layer. The second layer has a side (32/42) adjacent the side of the first layer and includes barriers (82) defining a fluid chamber (80) on the side, a drop ejecting element (70) formed within the fluid chamber, and a thermal conduction path (198) extended between the fluid chamber and the barriers.
