ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention provides an air flow control nozzle in which a ball, which has air-flow passageways therethrough, is at least partially supported in a housing (or cowl) by an air cushion formed by the pressure of air at the nozzle inlet and, in order to alter the direction of airflow from the nozzle, the orientation of the ball can be changed by simply turning the ball on the air cushion.
