A flow tube for a bidirectional flow meter comprises a first means (for example in the form of a first flow chamber) for generating a periodic pressure fluctuation whose frequency varies in dependence on the flow rate of fluid through the meter in a first direction; and a second means (for example in the form of a second flow chamber) for generating a periodic pressure fluctu-ation whose frequency varies in dependence on the flow rate of fluid through the meter in a second direction, opposite to the first direction;wherein said first and second generating means are connected in series between an inlet port and an outlet port.

L'invention concerne un débitmètre bidirectionnel dont un tube découlement comprend un premier moyen (par exemple sous la forme dune première chambre découlement) servant à générer une fluctuation périodique de pression dont la fréquence varie en fonction du débit de fluide traversant le débitmètre dans un premier sens; et un deuxième moyen (par exemple sous la forme dune deuxième chambre découlement) servant à générer une fluctuation périodique de pression dont la fréquence varie en fonction du débit de fluide traversant le débitmètre dans un deuxième sens opposé au premier sens; lesdits premier et deuxième moyens générateurs étant reliés en série entre un orifice dentrée et un orifice de sortie.
