A fluid injection apparatus and method provides a controlled volume displacement for use of the apparatus in a subterranean well. Pressure is applied within a conduit carrying the apparatus into the well for activating a piston and contracting a chamber containing a treatment fluid for ejection of the treatment fluid into the well. A plurality of chambers may be isolated by the piston means relative to the conduit passageway for selective, incremental, ejection of the fluid and treatment of one or more zones or sections within the well.
