A fluid injection apparatus and method of injecting fluid are disclosed. The apparatus includes a control syringe electrically connected to a power- acutated syringe. A sensor is provided proximate the control syring to monitor of the plunger therein, with a signal representative of plunger position then being communicated to a processor for calculation of a corresponding control signal. The control signal is received by an actuator of the power-actuated syringe to move the plunger of the power-actuated syringe is a manner related to movement of the control syringe. The control syringe is provided with a feedback device to provide the operator with an indication as to the pressure of the fluid being injected into a patient.
Dispositif et procédé d'injection de fluide. Le dispositif comprend une seringue de commande reliée électriquement à une seringue électrique. Un capteur est placé à proximité de la seringue de commande pour surveiller la position du piston de celle-ci, un signal représentant la position du piston étant ensuite transmis à un processeur pour permettre de calculer un signal de commande correspondant. Le signal de commande est reçu par un actionneur de la seringue électrique afin de déplacer le piston de celle-ci d'une manière correspondant au déplacement de la seringue de commande. La seringue de commande comporte un dispositif de rétroaction qui fournit à l'opérateur une indication quant à la pression du fluide injecté au patient.
