Abstract of the Disclosure The specification describes a piston for use in a linear fluid actuated motor wherein the piston com- prises an elongated cylindrical stem portion and a cylindrical head portion coaxial with respect to the stem portion. The outer diameter of the head portion is larger than the outer diameter of the stem portion and the elemental mass of the head portion at any intermediate diameter thereof radially intermediate the respective outer diameters of the head and stem portions is substantially a constant taken into consideration its geometric shape and the density of the material from which it is made.
