ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A rotary actuator operated by a pressure fluid; the actuator comprises an annular chamber in which a piston member reciprocates, said piston member being operatively connected to an external power-transmission member through an annular slit provided with a flexible sealing strip. The power transmission member is rotatably supported coaxially to the annular chamber and is loosely connected to the piston member.
