ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A fluid powered generator is mounted on an automotive vehicle or the like. The generator includes a cylinder depending from one arm of an "A" frame via an enclosed cap. A sealed tube extends upwardly from another arm of the frame and is tightly and slidably disposed within the cylinder. A spring is disposed between the arms of the frame and surrounds the sealed tube and cylinder. A closed chamber is formed between the sealed tube and a top portion of the cylinder. The chamber serves as a first damping device. A piston is disposed within the sealed tube. The piston has a stem pivoted to one arm of the frame and extending therefrom. A plurality of valves are provided, above and below the piston. the valves cooperate with suitable conduits for the pumping of fluids (above and below the piston) in response to changes in the distance between the upper and lower arms. The conduits are connected to a suitable generator, such as a turbine, for utilizing the available energy.
