An adsorption-desorption apparatus, for storage and dispensing of a sorbable gas, wherein a physical sorbent medium bearing the adsorbed gas to be selectively dispensed is delivered by pressure differential desorption and/or thermal desorption of the sorbate gas from the sorbent material. The sorbent material preferably comprises a material which is characterized by a Sorbent Working Capacity, measured for arsine at 40 Torr and at 650 Torr, of at least 100 grams arsine per liter of bed of the sorbent material, e.g., a sorbent material having the adsorption isotherm characteristic of curve A in Figure 1.

L'invention concerne un apparail d'adsorption-désorption, destiné au stockage et à la distribution d'un gaz sorbable, dans lequel un milieu sorbent physique portant le gaz adsorbé à distribuer de manière sélective est acheminé par une désorption à différentiel de pression et/ou une désorption thermique du gaz sorbé à partir de la matière du sorbent. La matière du sorbent comprend de préférence une matière caractérisée par une capacité de travail de sorbent, mesurée pour l'arsine à 40 Torr et à 650 Torr, d'au moins 100 grammes d'arsine par litre de lit de matière de sorbent, par exemple une matière de sorbent ayant la caractéristique isotherme d'adsorption de courbe A de la figure 1.
