An endoscopic apparatus and fluid supply unit is described. The endoscopic apparatus comprises an insertion member for insertion into said body lumen and having at least one channel through which a fluid medium is supplied to the body lumen. The endoscopic apparatus further comprises an operation handle, a control unit for controlling supply of the fluid medium, a fluid supply unit and a means for delivering said fluid medium from said fluid supply unit to said channel. The fluid supply unit is provided with at least one refillable or replaceable container for storing the fluid medium therein and for supplying the fluid medium to the channel upon receiving a signal from the control unit.

La présente invention concerne un appareil endoscopique et une unité d~alimentation en fluide. L~appareil endoscopique comprend un élément d~insertion pour une insertion dans ladite lumière de corps et comprend au moins un canal à travers lequel un milieu fluide est introduit dans la lumière du corps. L~appareil endoscopique comprend en outre une poignée de fonctionnement, une unité de commande destinée à commander l~alimentation en milieu fluide, une unité d~alimentation en fluide et un moyen pour libérer ledit milieu fluide depuis ladite unité vers ledit canal. Ladite unité est équipée d~au moins un récipient pouvant être rempli ou remplacé destiné à stocker le milieu fluide et à introduire le milieu fluide dans le canal lors de la réception d~un signal en provenance de l~unité de commande.
