Fluidized bed reactor for the heat treatment of waste material and the heat exchange between circulating solids and a heat exchange member such as a steam overheater, the reactor being of the type comprising an axial circulating fluidized bed (18-18') and at least a first (28) and a second (48) fluidized dense side beds set respectively along first (11) and second (12) walls of the reactor envelop, characterized in that the supply of waste material is carried out on at least one point of said first wall (11) over said first bed (28), said reactor comprising also at least one conduit for the extraction of heavy non-fluidizable elements, said extraction conduit being located at the base of said first fluidizing bed.

Réacteur à lits fluidisés pour le traitement thermique de déchets et l'échange thermique entre solides en circulation et un organe d'échange thermique tel qu'un surchauffeur de vapeur, le réacteur étant du type comprenant un lit fluidisé circulant axial (18-18') et au moins un premier (28) et un second (48) lit fluidisés denses latéraux établis respectivement le long d'une première (11) et d'une seconde (12) paroi de l'enveloppe du réacteur, caractérisé en ce que l'alimentation en déchets est effectuée en au moins un point de ladite première paroi (11) au-dessus dudit premier lit (28), ledit réacteur comprenant en outre au moins un conduit d'extraction des éléments lourds non fluidisables, situé à la base dudit premier lit de fluidisation.
