FLUIDIZED CATALYTIC CRACKING PROCESS WITH IMPROVED CYCLE GAS OIL STRIPPING (D#74,556 FB) A B S T R A C T The present application discloses a fluidized catalytic cracking process wherein light cycle gas oil is stripped of heavy naphtha components employing reboiled light cycle gas oil as stripping vapor, and wherein intermediate cycle gas oil is stripped of light cycle gas oil components employing reboiled intermediate cycle gas oil as stripping vapor. Heavy naphtha vapors stripped from the light cycle gas oil are returned to the reaction vessel as primary stripping vapor for increasing naphtha octane value, and for reducing sour water production from the Fluid Catalytic Cracking Unit. Light cycle gas oil components stripped from the intermediate cycle gas oil are returned to the fractionation column for improving light cycle gas oil yield.
