The matrix or carrier resin for the fluorescent dye(s) comprises resinous precondensates which are soluble in dimethylformamide and are derived from certain polyfunctional acids and alcohols, and preferably from phthalic anhydride or its esters and penta- erythritol or tris-(2-hydroxyethyl) isocyanurate. - 1 -
