TITLE FLUORINATED ALKYL ETHER-CONTAINING ETHYLENES, PRECURSORS THERETO, AND COPOLYMERS THEREOF WITH TETRAFLUOROETHYLENE ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Copolymers of TFE (tetrafluoroethylene) with fluorinated alkyl ethylenes which contain ether linkages are provided. The copolymers are thermally stable and useful as electrical insulation. Some of the copolymers contain functional groups and are hydrolyzable to fluorinated copolymers which contain acid functional groups. Novel monomers and precursors thereof are also provided.
