The fluorinated hydrophilic polymers, according to the invention, are obtained through radical polymerization, in a precipitant medium, of a mixture of monomers made up of at least one non-ionic hydrophilic monomer, at least one lateral chain perfluoralkyl monomer and, eventually, one or more ionizable or ionic hydrophilic monomers. These polymers are particularly useful as thickeners and additives in multi-purpose extinguishing foam concentrates.

Les polymères hydrophiles fluorés selon l'invention sont obtenus par poly- mérisation radicalaire, en milieu précipitant, d'un mélange de monomères composéd'au moins un monomère hydrophile non-ionique, d'au moins un monomère à chaîne latérale perfluoroalkyle et, éventuellement, d'un ou plusieurs monomère(s) hydro- phile(s) ionique(s) ou ionisable(s). Ces polymères sont particulièrement intéressants comme épaississants et comme additifs dans les émulseurs anti-incendies polyvalents.
