A compound having formula (1) where Q is an onium ion; A- is a counterion; R1, R2, R3, and R4, independently, comprise (a) a non-fluorinated alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, or aralkyl group; (b) an onium-containing group; or (c) a group having the formula -(CH2)n-Y-R5 in which n is at least two; Y is a spacer arm comprising a -CH2-, -O-, -OCH2-, -S-, SO2-, or -Z-SO2- group; Z is an -R6-O-, -N(R6)-, or -N(H)- group; R6 is a substituted or unsubstituted phenylene group; R7 is a non-fluorinated alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, or alkaryl group; and R5 is a fluorinated group, perfluorinated group, or combination thereof, with the proviso that (i) at least one of R1, R2, R3, and R4 comprises a group having the formula -(CH2)n-Y-R5: (ii) the total number of fluorine atoms in said compound is at least 5; and (iii) when Q is a sulfonium ion, there is no R4 group. The invention further includes curable compositions comprising vinylidene fluoride-containing polymers and the above-described compounds, as well as a method for curing such compositions.
Cette invention se rapporte à un composé représenté par la formule (1) où Q représente un ion onium; A<-> représente un contre-ion; R<1>, R<2>, R<3> et R<4> comprennent, indépendamment, (a) un groupe alkyle, cycloalkyle, aryle, ou aralkyle non fluoré; (b) un groupe à teneur en onium; ou (c) un groupe ayant la formule -(CH2)n-Y-R<5> où n est égal au moins à deux; Y représente un bras d'espacement comprenant un groupe -CH2-, -O-, -OCH2-, -S-, SO2-, ou -Z-SO2-; Z représente un groupe -R<6>-O-, -N(R<6>)-, ou-N(H)-; R<6> représente un groupe phénylène substitué ou non substitué; R<7> représente un groupe alkyle, cycloalkyle, aryle, ou alkaryle non fluoré; et R<5> représente un groupe fluoré, un groupe perfluoré ou une combinaison de ceux-ci, à la condition que: (i) au moins l'un des éléments R<1>, R<2>, R<3> et R<4> comprenne un groupe ayant la formule -(CH2)n-Y-R<5>; (ii) le nombre total des atomes de fluor de ce composé soit d'au moins 5; et (iii) lorsque Q est un ion sulfonium, alors il n'y a pas de groupe R<4>. Cette invention se rapporte en outre à des compositions vulcanisables comprenant des polymères contenant du fluor de vinylidène et les composés décrits ci-dessus, ainsi qu'un procédé de durcissement de ces compositions.
