- 1 - Abstract The present invention is directed to a fluorine- containing grease comprising polytetra-fluoroethylene and a perfluoroalkyl polyether. The fluorine-containing grease is prepared by polymerizing tetrafluoroethylene in the perfluoroalkyl polyether and has good homogeneity and lubricity. The fluorine-containing grease is suitable for use as a lubricant in a variety of applications, in particular, as a noise reducing lubricant for bearings.
