A composition useful to provide oil repellency, water repellency, and stain resistance to substrates comprising a polymer prepared by contacting a polytluoroalkyl sulfonyl halide with a compound of Formula II: (E-(O)q)3Si-O- (Si(R2)2-O)m [Si(R3-NHR4)(R2)O]n-Si-((O)q-E)3, Formula III: HR4N-R3-Si(R2)2-O- [Si(R2)2-O]m [Si(R3-NHR4)(R2)O]n-Si-(R2)2-R3-NHR4 or Formula IV: HR4N-R3- Si(R2)2-O-[Si(R2)2-O]mSi-((O)q-E)3 , wherein each R2 is independently a C1 to C8 alkyl, each R3 is independently a divalent group containing carbon, oxygen, and optionally at least one of nitrogen oxygen and sulfur, each R4 is independently H or C1 to C8 alkyl, each E is independently a C1 to C8 branched or linear alkyl, each q is independently zero or 1, m is a positive integer, and n is independently zero or a positive integer, such that n/(m+n) is zero or a positive fraction having a value up to about 0.7, and the polymer viscosity is less than or equal to 10000 mPa.s under a shear rate of 0.1 s-1 at a temperature of 20~ C.

L'invention concerne une composition utile pour rendre oléofuges, hydrophobes et résistants aux taches des substrats comprenant un polymère préparé par la mise en contact d'un halogénure de sulfonyle polyfluoroalkylique avec un composé de formule Il, III ou IV. Formule II : (E-(O)q)3Si-O-(Si(R2)2-O)m [Si(R3-NHR4)(R2)O]n-Si-((O)q-E)3 ; Formule III: HR4N-R3-Si(R2)2-O-[Si(R2)2-O]m [Si(R3-NHR4)(R2)O]n-Si-(R2)2-R3-NHR4 ; Formule IV: HR4N-R3-Si(R2)2-O-[Si(R2)2-O]mSi-((O)q-E)3. Dans ces formules, chaque R2 représente séparément un alkyle C1 à C8, chaque R3 représente séparément un groupe bivalent contenant carbone, oxygène et éventuellement au moins azote, oxygène et/ou soufre, R4 représente séparément H ou alkyle C1 à C8, chaque E représente séparément un alkyle linéaire ou ramifié C1 à C8, chaque q vaut séparément zéro ou un entier positif, et n vaut séparément zéro ou un entier positif, de sorte que n/(m+n) soit égal à zéro ou à une fraction positive ayant une valeur pouvant atteindre 0,7, et que la viscosité du polymère soit inférieure ou égale à 10000 mPa.s avec une vitesse de cisaillement de 0.1 s-1 à une température de 20° C.
