The instant invention relates to new compounds of the formula I (see formula I) wherein R0 is (see formula II), R1 and R2 are each independently of the other a fluorine containing group, R3 and R4 are each independently of the other hydrogen, a fluorine containing group, C1-C12alkyl, phenyl or (see formula III) R4, together with the carbon atom to which they are bonded, form a C5-C8- cycloalkylidene ring that is unsubstituted or substituted by from 1 to 3 C1-C4alkyl groups; R5, R6, R7 and R8 are each independently of the other hydrogen, C1-C12alkyl or C3-C12alkenyl, X1 and X2 are each independently of the other a direct bond or C1-C12alkylene, m is 1 to 10'000, and n is 0 to 10'000. These new compounds of the formula I are useful as reducers of surface energy for organic materials such as polycarbonates, polyesters or polyketones or their mixtures, blends or alloys. Polymers with such a reduced surface energy possess an "easy to clean", "self-clea- ning" "antisoiling", "soil-release" "antigraffiti", "oil resistance", "solvent resistance", "chemical resistance", "self lubricating", "scratch resistance", "low moisture absorption" and "hydropho- bic" surface.
L'invention concerne de nouveaux composés de formule (I), dans laquelle Ro est (formule IV), -O-, -S-, -SO-, -SO2- ou (formule II) ; R1 et R2 sont chacun indépendamment un groupe contenant de la fluorine ; R3 et R4 sont chacun indépendamment hydrogène, un groupe contenant de la fluorine, alkyle C1-C12, phényle ou (formule III), ou bien R3 et R4, avec l'atome de carbone auquel ils sont liés, forment un cycle cycloalkylidène C5-C8 qui est substitué ou non par 1 à 3 groupes alkyle C1-C4; R5, R6, R7 et R8 sont chacun indépendamment hydrogène, alkyle C1-C12 ou alcényle C3-C12 ; X1 et X2 sont chacun indépendamment une liaison directe ou alkylène C1-C12; m est un nombre de 1 à 10 000, n est un nombre de 0 à 10 000. Ces nouveaux composés de formule (I) servent à réduire la tension superficielle de matières organiques telles que les polycarbonates, polyesters, polycétones ou bien leurs mélanges ou leurs alliages. Les polymères présentant une tension superficielle ainsi réduite ont une surface "aisée à nettoyer", "auto-nettoyante" "anti-salissure", "facilitant le lavage" "antigraffiti", "résistante à l'huile", "résistante au solvant", " résistante aux produits chimiques", "autolubrifiante", " résistante aux rayures", "à faible absorption d'humidité" et "hydrophobe".
